This site sets no cookies of its own
A short page, because there is little to declare. This site sets no cookies of its own, and the two things it does remember never leave your device.
Last updated 2 September 2026. This applies to schoolofquranicstudies.com and to the school's classroom and family portal at squran.com.
1. What this site keeps
Two values, in your browser's own local storage rather than in a cookie:
- Where you came from — the campaign parameters on the link you clicked, so that if you go on to book we know which advertisement earned it. It is read only if you complete a booking.
- Whether you have seen the chat prompt — so the WhatsApp panel does not open at you twice.
Neither is sent anywhere as you browse, neither identifies you, and both are gone when you clear your browser data.
2. Advertising and analytics
Where the school is running advertising, Meta's and Google's measurement tags may set their own cookies to count how many people who saw an advertisement went on to book. They are loaded only when those measurement identifiers are configured; when they are not, no third-party tag is placed on the page at all.
These tags never receive a student's name, a child's age, a lesson recording or anything said in class. At most they learn that a booking happened.
3. Consent
Nothing that requires consent is loaded before you give it. The two values above are strictly necessary to the working of the site and to attributing a booking you chose to make, which is why the site does not throw a consent wall in front of you before you have read a word.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union and would rather no measurement tag ran at all, block third-party cookies in your browser or message the admissions desk and we will confirm what is set for you.
4. How to see and clear it
Every browser lets you inspect and delete site data — usually under Privacy, Site settings, or Clear browsing data. Clearing it removes both values. Nothing on this site stops working without them; you would only lose the record of which advertisement brought you, which matters to us and not to you.
5. The rest of the picture
What the school holds once you actually enrol — and it is deliberately very little — is set out in the privacy policy. To have it erased, see data deletion.

No cookies are set by this website. Two values are kept in your browser — which advert brought you here, and whether you have already seen the chat prompt — and both stay on your device. Advertising and analytics tags set their own cookies only where they are switched on, and blocking them breaks nothing.
