Our teachers

Examined before they teach. Checked before they meet a child.

Every academy says its teachers are qualified. We publish the process, and every step of it is recorded in the school's own system — the examination as a recording, the background check on the file, the readiness check as measurements.

  1. Application, in the teacher's own wordsQualifications — ijāzah, ḥifẓ, dars-e-niẓāmī, tajwīd — years of teaching, languages, and a written statement, kept on the file.
  2. Entrance examination, recordedA recitation examination and a teaching demonstration, recorded and marked by the Registrar. The candidate reads passages the school chooses, with tajwīd, and teaches a short lesson as if to a child.
  3. Background checkCompleted before appointment, without exception, and repeated on a schedule. A teacher with an unresolved check does not meet a student.
  4. Technical readinessCamera, microphone, lighting and connection are measured by the school's readiness check — not self-reported — so the classroom works from the first lesson.
  5. The continuity undertakingA signed commitment to the timetable and to the students: no disappearing between months, no lessons handed to an unknown substitute.
  6. Supervised on the floorThe coordinator sees every live lesson and can enter any classroom. Lessons with children are recorded. The monthly record shows every teacher's punctuality and every child's progress.
What every teacher has
  • A passed entrance examination in recitation and teaching
  • A completed background check
  • A measured technical readiness check
  • A signed continuity undertaking
  • Urdu and English; Arabic recitation with tajwīd
Female teachers

A female student whose family asks for a female teacher is assigned one, and the requirement is fixed on the record — it is never overridden by availability. A female teacher's photograph appears only with her consent, never as a condition of teaching.

Where they teach from

Our faculty teaches from Pakistan, from the school's own classroom software, in your timezone, to families around the world.

Teachers currently appointed

Each teacher appears with their name, qualifications and — with their consent — a photograph. Profiles are added as teachers are appointed.

Appointments in progress

The first cohort of teachers is completing the examination and checks above ahead of the 7 December start. Profiles appear here — name, qualifications, photograph with consent — as each is appointed. You meet your child's teacher in the free trial before you decide anything.

Questions parents ask

About the teachers

How are teachers selected?

Every candidate applies with their qualifications, then sits an entrance examination in recitation and teaching that is recorded and marked by the Registrar. Those who pass complete a background check, a technical readiness check of their camera, microphone and connection, and sign a continuity undertaking before they are appointed. Only appointed teachers meet students.

Are teachers background-checked?

Yes. Every teacher completes a background check before appointment, and the school's safeguarding policy is published in full.

Are the teachers qualified?

Each teacher's qualifications are recorded at application and examined before appointment — an examination in recitation and in teaching, marked by the Registrar from a recording. No teacher meets a student before passing it.

Where are the teachers based?

Our faculty teaches from Pakistan, in your timezone, to families around the world.
