Most "online Qur'an academies" are a teacher on a video call holding a Qur'an up to the camera. Ours is a purpose-built classroom where the mushaf is on the screen, the teacher's pointer is on the word, and every correction is written to the record.

Accept admission — or don't
If the fit is right, the teacher offers a place. Accept, and the admission fee is charged to the saved card. Decline, and it is released. No pressure, no follow-up calls.

Every academy says its teachers are "qualified". We publish how ours are selected — and every step is recorded in the school's system, not on a certificate we ask you to take on trust.
- Application, in the teacher's own wordsQualifications — ijāzah, ḥifẓ, dars-e-niẓāmī, tajwīd — years of teaching, languages, and a written statement, kept on the file.
- Entrance examination, recordedA recitation examination and a teaching demonstration, recorded and marked by the Registrar. The candidate reads passages the school chooses, with tajwīd, and teaches a short lesson as if to a child.
- Background checkCompleted before appointment, without exception, and repeated on a schedule. A teacher with an unresolved check does not meet a student.
- Technical readinessCamera, microphone, lighting and connection are measured by the school's readiness check — not self-reported — so the classroom works from the first lesson.
- The continuity undertakingA signed commitment to the timetable and to the students: no disappearing between months, no lessons handed to an unknown substitute.

Each month you receive the record the classroom wrote during the lessons: attendance, the pages covered, the words corrected, the accuracy trend, and short recitation clips you can play to grandparents.

How does the demo work?
You choose a course, a time and the kind of teacher you prefer, and enter a card to secure the slot. A trained teacher then gives a ten-minute lesson in the real online classroom, followed by ten minutes for your questions. At the end the teacher offers admission if the fit is right. If you accept, the admission fee is charged to the saved card; if you decline, nothing is charged and the card is released.
Why do you take a card before a free demo?
So that the demo slot is real. A teacher prepares for it and keeps that time for you. Saving a card — with nothing charged — is how we know a booking is serious, and it is also what lets admission happen on the spot if you decide to go ahead, without another form. The card is held by Stripe; we never see or store the number.
Are lessons one-to-one or in groups?
Both, and you choose. A group class is up to ten students of the same level with one examined teacher, on the same curriculum and the same shared mushaf, at half the one-to-one fee — it is what most families start with. One-to-one is a single teacher and a single student for the whole lesson. Ask at the free trial which suits your child; you can change at any month.
Can a female student have a female teacher?
Yes. Tell us when you book and the requirement is fixed on the record — the school never assigns a male teacher to a student whose family has asked for a female one.
How are teachers selected?
Every candidate applies with their qualifications, then sits an entrance examination in recitation and teaching that is recorded and marked by the Registrar. Those who pass complete a background check, a technical readiness check of their camera, microphone and connection, and sign a continuity undertaking before they are appointed. Only appointed teachers meet students.
What does it cost?
A one-off admission fee, charged only if you accept admission at the end of the demo, then a monthly fee that depends on how many days a week your child learns. Current fees are on the fees page and are confirmed with you before anything is charged.
Are lessons recorded?
Every lesson involving a student under eighteen is recorded, and a guardian may view any recording of their own child from the family portal.
What timezone are lessons in?
Yours. Every time you see — on the booking page, in your emails and in your family portal — is shown in your own timezone, and the timetable is built around your school and work hours.
